Should any liquid ingress into the housing of this equip-
ment, unplug the unit from the wall socket (if connected)
and have it checked by an authorised expert.
4.6. Electromagnetic interference
• Operation in close proximity (i.e. less than 2
metres) to working shortwave or microwave
therapy units may produce instability in the
Endomed 182 output.
• To prevent electromagnetic interference, we
strongly advise using separate mains groups
(phases) for the Endomed 182 and the shortwave
or microwave equipment, and a distance of at
least 2 metres is kept between the Endomed 182
and the shortwave or microwave equipment.
• Ensure that the mains cable of the shortwave/mi-
crowave unit does not come near the Endomed
182 or the patient.
If problems with electromagnetic interference per-
sist, please contact your authorised distributor.

With this button you change the read-out mode

specified by the manufacturer can adversely af-
fect the safety of the patient and correct func-
tioning of the equipment, and is therefore not
permitted.
For combined applications use only Enraf-Non-
ius type BF equipment. The very low leakage
current of this type of equipment ensures abso-
lutely safe therapy.
[13] Adjusting buttons for the intensity and pre-

program selector for the programs P0 until P30.
