Cleaning of powder filter, prefilter
and damper
Clean out the filters and damper from time to time.
Clogged filters and damper may result in poor suction
performance.
Regularly clean out the accumulated dust of filters and
damper.
Occasionally wash the powder filter, prefilter and
damper in water, rinse and dry thoroughly in the shade
before use. Never wash them in a washing machine.
► Fig.39
NOTE: Do not rub or scratch the powder filter, the
prefilter and the damper with hard objects such as a
brush and a paddle.
NOTE: The filters wear out in course of time. It is
recommended to have some spares for them.
Installing powder filter and prefilter
NOTICE:
The powder filter and prefilter can pick
up both dry dusts and wet dusts. Make sure that
the water level sensors activate properly to pre-
vent the powder filter breakage.
Hook the edges of the filter unit to the top plate, and
then lower the knob.

Optional accessory
NOTICE:
For picking up wet dust, make sure that
the water level sensors activate properly.
NOTICE:
Do not use prefilter and damper when
using water filter.
To pick up water or wet dust only, the water filter is more
suitable than the powder filter and prefilter.
When installing the water filter, fit the water filter to the
top plate same as powder filter and prefilter.
► Fig.43
NOTE: It is recommended that using water filter
when picking up large amount of water repeatedly.
Otherwise vacuum ability may be reduced in case of
the powder filter and prefilter.
Cleaning the water level sensors
The water level sensors detect liquid when the tank
becomes full with liquid. Clean the water level sensors
with a soft cloth from time to time when changing filters.
