in freezing temperatures.
– If the pressure washer must be
transported or stored in freezing
conditions, the pump must be filled with
antifreeze to prevent cracking due to
water expansion, @ 13.2.

7 Before Starting Work
7.1
Preparing the Pressure Washer for Operation
Before starting work:
► Place the pressure washer on flat and firm ground or other
solid surface in an open area.
► Connect the spray gun and lance, @ 8.4.1.
► Insert the spray nozzle, @ 8.5.1.
► If desired, add detergent, @ 12.4.
► Connect the water supply, @ 9.1.
► Connect the power supply cord to a properly installed
electrical outlet that matches the voltage and electrical
frequency stated on the pressure washer's rating plate.
Connect to an individual branch circuit only.
► Test the ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI), @ 10.1

Assembling Parts and Accessories
WARNING
To reduce the risk of severe injury from high-pressure spray,
always switch off the pressure washer, shut off the water
supply, relieve any remaining pressure in the system and
lock the spray gun trigger before attempting to assemble the
pressure washer or spray attachment.

► Push the pushbar (1) into the handle (2).
► Insert screws (3) into the handle and tighten.
