Push in the drill bit as far as possible. Turn the sleeve in the rotation "Grip" until you hear
a click. The drill bit is not sufficiently firmly chucked after you have continued turning applying
some considerable force-until it any more. (Fig. 5)
Re-chucking maybe necessary if the drill bit shank is rather soft.
INSTALLING AND REMOVING THE BELT HOOK
CAUTION: When installing the hook, tighten the screw firmly. Failure to do so may
cause the breakage of the tool or personal injury.
1. The belt hook is convenient for temporarily hanging the tool. This can be installed on either
side of the tool.
2. To install the belt hook, insert it into a groove in the tool housing on either side and then
secure it with a screw. To remove, loosen the screw and then take it out. (Fig. 6A & Fig. 6B)
3. After installing the belt hook, make sure that it is screwed firmly.
SPINDLE LOCK
WARNING: Excessive tightening by hand may damage the screw.
The automatic spindle lock enable bits to be changed quickly and easily in the keyless
chuck.
The drill spindle id locked when the switch is not pressed or when it is released, so that
projecting screws can be screwed in flush by manually rotating the machine.
FORWARD/REVERSE LEVEL
WARNING: Do not change the direction of rotation until the chuck comes to a
complete stop.
This determines the direction of rotation of the chuck, ie. clockwise or anti-clockwise.
To alter the direction of rotation stop the drill then push the selection lever to the left of right.
When the lever is in the "Forward" position the chuck will rotate clockwise. When the lever is in
the "Reverse" position the chuck will rotate anti-clockwise. Before operation check that the level
is set in the required position. (Fig. 7)
