Operation
Start cooking
To start cooking, carefully follow the steps below to get the most out of your Infiniton cooktop.
Touch the ON/OFF key. After switching on, a beep
will sound and all indicators will show "-" or "- -",
indicating that the hob has entered standby
mode.
Place a suitable container on the cooking zone
you wish to use.
Make sure that the bottom of the pan and the
surface of the cooking zone are clean and dry.
Select a cooking zone and determine the power
level by touching the slider, or slide along the "-"
control, or simply touch any point of the "-".
•
If you do not adjust the power setting within 1 minute, the induction hob will switch off
automatically. You will have to start again at step 1.
•
You can change the heat setting at any time during cooking.
•
If you slide along the "-", the power will vary from level 1 to 9.
If the display flashes
This means that:
- you have not placed a pan on the correct cooking zone or,
- the pan you are using is not suitable for induction cooking or,
- the pan is too small or not properly centred on the cooking zone.
Heating does not occur if there is no suitable frying pan in the cooking zone.
