Operation
Locking the controls (Child Lock)
You can lock the controls to prevent unintentional use (e.g. if children accidentally turn on the cooking
zones).
When the controls are locked, all controls except on/off are disabled.
Activate the lock
Press the lock key (
Deactivate the blocking
Make sure that the hob is switched on.
Press and hold down the lock button for a few seconds.
The hob will beep and you will be able to use it normally.
Timer
If your hob has this function, you can activate it in two different ways:
1.
You can use it as a minute timer. In this case, the timer will not switch off any cooking zone when the
set time has elapsed.
2. You can program it to switch off one or more cooking zones after the set time has elapsed. The timer
has a maximum duration of 99 minutes.
Using the timer as a minute reminder (For models without Slide control)
(If no cooking zone has been selected)
Make sure that the hob is switched on. To be able to use the timer, at least one zone must be active.
Touch "-" or "+" on the timer control, the minute
minder indicator will start flashing and "30" will
appear on the timer display.
Adjust the time by touching the "-" or "+" control.
Tip: Touch the "-" or "+" control once to decrease
or increase by 1 minute.
Touch and hold the "-" or "+" timer control to
decrease or increase by 10 minutes. If the set time
exceeds 99 minutes, the timer will return to
0 minutes automatically.
Cancel the time by touching the "-" on the timer
and scrolling down to "0".
When the time is set, the countdown starts. The
display will show the remaining time and the timer
will flash for 5 seconds.
At the end of the set time, the timer indicator will
beep for 30 seconds. The timer indicator will
display "- -" when the set time has expired.
) and "Lo" will automatically appear on the display.
