4. Apply grease to the handlebar.
5. Apply grease to the throttle
cables and cable pulley.

"A" or equivalent
6. Insert the Grip Heater (R)
② into the handlebar. Then,
install the throttle cable No.1
first, then No.2.
7. Install the Grip Heater (R) ②
to the switch box.
8. Fit the stopper pin of the
switch box to the hole in the
handlebar and tighten screws.
Order of tightening
① rear ⇒ ② front
Screw:
3N . m(0.3 kgf-m, 2.0 lbf-ft)
NOTE:
After tightening screws of the
switch box, check to make sure
that the switch box does not rattle.
9. Reinstall the existing handle-
bar balancer that was removed
in step 1.
Bolt (M8)
23N . m(2.3 kgf-m, 17.0 lbf-ft)
WARNING
Open and close the throttle,
and make sure if there is any
catch in the throttle operation.
