THERMEX NEWCASTLE
•
Insert the battery. NOTE: take care to position the battery correctly.
•
Replace the battery cover on the remote control.
•
The remote control is now ready for use.
EXTRACTION
The motor is activated by pressing on 'on/off extraction'. The motor always starts at speed 1.
The motor speed is increased by pressing on the (+) button and reduced by pressing on the (-)
button. If extraction has been set to the highest level, and the (+) button is then pressed, two
beeps will sound from the hood to indicate that the extraction level cannot go any higher.
Similarly, two beeps will sound from the hood if the (-) button is pressed when the hood is set
to its lowest level.
The motor is turned off by pressing on on/off extraction, regardless of which speed it is
running at.
LIGHT
The light on the hood is turned on and off by pressing on the 'on/off light' button. This can be
done independently of whether the motor is running.
RECIRCULATION
The hood can be used for recirculation. This is used in kitchens and locations where there is no
possibility of venting into open-air. The air is sucked out through a filter with
active carbon to remove odours.
NOTE: Two recirculation filters must be used, and these are not included in the purchase of the
hood, although they can be bought as accessories. The product number for a recirculation filter
is 535.19.3000.9.
Recirculation filters are installed instead of grease filters.
The recirculation filters are installed as follows:
•
Lift the metal lid by holding the two corners of the lid and carefully pushing downwards.
•
Remove the grease filters by pulling on the filter locking mechanism.
•
Attach the recirculation filters.
