8. Cleaning, maintenance and repairs
1.
The saw may start unintentionally if the battery is left in place during cleaning, maintenance or repairing
operations:
•
Disconnect the chain saw head.
•
Take down the guide bar and saw chain.

Aggressive cleaning agents, high pressure cleaners or pointed objects can damage the saw, guide
bar, saw chain, battery and charger. If the saw, guide bar, saw chain, battery or charger are not cleaned
correcly, components may no longer work properly or safety devices may be rendered unoperative.
•
Clean the saw, guide bar, saw chain, battery and charger as described in this instruction manual.

If the saw, guide bar, saw chain, battery or charger are not properly serviced, components may no longer
work properly or safety devices may be rendered inoperative. This can result in serious or fatal injuries.
•
Do not attempt to service or repair the saw, battery or charger.
•
If the saw, battery or the charger require servicing or repairs: Contact Bellota SAT.
•
Service or repair the guide bar and chain as described in this instruction manual.
