7. M ounting and dism ounting of the bit
For keyed chuck (Fig. 2)
(1) Open the chuck jaw s, and insert the bit into
the chuck.
(2) Place the chuck w rench in each of the three
holes in the chuck, and turn it in the
clockw ise direction (view ed from the front
side). Tighten securely.
(3) To rem ove the bit, place the chuck w rench
into one of the holes in the chuck and turn
it in the counterclockw ise direction.
For keyless chuck (Fig. 3)
(1) Open the chuck jaw s, and insert the bit into
the chuck.
To open the chuck jaws, hold the ring while
turning the sleeve in the counterclockw ise
direction (view ed from the front side).
(2) Firm ly grasp the ring and turn the sleeve
i n t h e cl o ckw i se d i r ect i o n . Ti g h t en
securely.
(3) To rem ove the bit, firm ly grasp the ring
and turn the sleeve in the counterclockwise
direction.
(4) If it is hard to loosen the sleeve, fix the
spindle using the open-end w rench, hold
t h e sl eev e f i r m l y , an d t u r n i t i n t h e
loosening direction (counterclockw ise
w hen view ed from the front). (Fig. 4)
8. Check the rotational direction (Fig. 5)
The bit rotates clockw ise (view ed from the
rear side) by pushing the R-side of the push
button.
The L-side of the push button is pushed to
turn the bit counterclockw ise.

9. Installing the side handle (Optional
accessory) (Fig. 6)
A Side handle can be installed on either side
of the tool for right or left handed use.
To install the side handle, thread it into the
M 10 hole on the desired side of the gear
cover and tighten it securely.
