13) SOLUTIONS FOR HOLE MAKING PROBLEMS
Problem
1) Magnetic

1. Attach an additional piece of metal under
the magnet, or mechanically clamp
magnetic base to work-piece.
2. Clean magnet.
3. Use extreme care; file any imperfections
flush to surface.
4. Confirm power supply and output from
control unit, check supply cable.

2. New arbor bushing is needed.
3. Light pressure only is needed until a groove
is cut. The groove then serves as a
stabilizer.
4. Replace or re-sharpen. Sharpening service is
available.
5. Improve centre-punch and/or replace worn
parts
