6.2.1 Issues with the IND236 terminal
Solution
1. Check the connectivity between the screen and main board
2. Check if the terminal is power-on
3. Check if the power supply is within 12-36VDC
1. Check if the connecting cable works
2. Check if the communication parameters are correct
1. Check if the terminal is set up auto-power off in F3.2.3
2. Check if the power supply is within 12-36VDC
3. Check if the power board works
If you still can't solve the issues by applying the solutions as described
above, contact a METTLER TOLEDO technician. Do not attempt to repair the
scale by yourself without authorization and proper training.
6.2.2 IND236 Error Codes
Reason analysis
Overload of the scale's capacity by more
than 9d
Under Zero by more than 20d
Outside the zero range
Incorrect entry or invalid key press
EEPROM verify error
Scale calibration failure
The weight of the selected sample is too
low when counting
The angle is out of the range of the
angular compensation:
EEPROM Write/Read error

Underload
Setup access denied
Scale not calibrated
The data is longer than the screen can
display
Solution
Reduce the load
Lift the fork and check that it has
disappeared
Restart the terminal or remove the weight
from the pallet
Wait for the message to disappear and
input correctly
Restart the terminal
Recalibrate the scale
Increase sample quantity
Adjust the mast's angle to see if it will
disappear
Ask a METTLER TOLEDO technician to
change EEPROM
Remove the weights and press zero
Press the metrology switch to regain
access to the setup menu.
Calibrate the scale
Reduce the load on the scale
