5.1 TRANSPORT THE MACHINE
Switch the product off and fully charge the battery. Attach blade sheath. Protect the product
from any heavy impact or strong vibrations which may occur during transportation in vehicles.
Secure the product to prevent it from slipping or falling over.
6. WINTERING
Follow all instructions given on chapter storage below. We recommend using the original
package for storage or covering the product with a suitable cloth or enclosure to protect it
against dust.
7. STORAGE
Only store the machine in a clean, dry, ventilated place with a temperature range of 4°C to 24°C.

Shut down the power tool. Examine the unit thoroughly for worn, loose or damaged parts. Clean
the unit before storing. Do not expose the product to sunlight. Make sure the product is always
protected from cold and humidity.

8. MAINTENANCE

8.1 CLEANING

It is highly suggested to clean the device after every use. Keep all safety devices, air vents, and
motor housing free of debris and dirt. Wipe up residue with a cloth and/or sponge. Never flush
the tool with water. Do not use cleaning agents, as these can attack the plastic and weaken the
structural integrity of the grass shear.
Clean and lubricate the blades
To ensure many years of efficient and trouble-free operation, blade cleaning should be
performed if sap and debris have built-up, or if you live in an area where the soil is sandy.
Cleaning unusually heavy deposits may require removal of the blade.
