TOOL DESCRIPTION
The power fl oat for plasters is a type of disc sander designed for machining large surfaces during fi nishing works. The accesso-
ries included with the power fl oat and available separately are used for machining gypsum-based plasters and cement renders.
The sandpaper is intended for the processing of styrofoam. The power fl oat cannot be used as a cutter, as well as a sander or
polisher for materials other than those specifi ed in the manual. The correct, reliable, and safe operation of the sander depends
on its proper use, therefore:
Read the entire instructions manual before the fi rst use of the tool and keep it for future reference.
Caution! Dust generated during the sanding of some surfaces may be harmful to health and even toxic.
The above remark applies, among others, to the sanding of surfaces covered with paints containing lead, certain types of wood,
certain metals (e.g. lead) and materials, therefore, eff ective dust extraction, dust masks and other skin and respiratory protection
measures should be used during work. The supplier shall not be liable for any damage resulting from failure to comply with the
safety instructions and recommendations specifi ed in this instructions manual.
EQUIPMENT
The power fl oat is delivered complete, but requires certain preparatory actions described in further sections of the manual. The
power fl oat is supplied with a sponge disc, a plastic disc, a disc with Velcro for sponge and sandpaper, as well as sandpaper discs
and a metal disc.

The declared total vibration emission value and declared noise emission value have been measured using the standard test
method and can be used to compare one tool to another. The declared total vibration emission value and declared noise emission
value can be used in the initial exposure assessment.
Caution! The vibration emission during tool operation may diff er from the declared value depending on the manner the tool is used.
Caution! Safety measures to protect the operator, which are based on an assessment of emission exposure under actual con-
ditions of use (including all parts of the work cycle, such as the time when the tool is turned off or idle and the activation time),
must be specifi ed.
