using screws and washers (VIII) by tightening the screws on both sides of the tool housing. Tighten the screws fi rmly enough so
that the extension can be tilted. During operation and before each use, check the tightness of the screws; they can be unscrewed
as a result of vibrations generated during operation.
The length of the extension must be adjusted to the operating conditions and the operator. Loosen the ring behind the front handle
of the extension, then extend the extension and tighten the ring to maintain the set length (IX).
PRODUCT OPERATION
Preparing for operation
All the assembly steps described above must be carried out before beginning operation.
Residual current circuit breaker (PRCD) test
The product is equipped with an automatic residual current circuit breaker connected to the power cord near the plug.
Such protection is necessary due to the power fl oat operation on damp surfaces. Every time before starting work, test its opera-
tion. Check that the tool power switch is in the "off " position, the disc has been removed and the spindle does not come into contact
with any object. Plug the power cord plug into the mains socket. Press the button marked "TEST" on the PRCD circuit breaker
housing; the indicator light on the PRCD circuit breaker will go off . Press the button marked "RESET" and then turn on the product
by pressing the power switch; the indicator light should illuminate.
If the indicator light does not go off after pressing the button marked "TEST" or goes off after turning on the product, immediately
stop the product operation, disconnect the power cord plug from the mains socket and hand the product over to the authorised
service centre of the manufacturer.
Caution! It is forbidden to use the product with a damaged residual current circuit breaker.
Operating the power fl oat
Where required, the processed material must be secured, e.g. with vices or clamps, in such a manner that it cannot move during
work. Improper securing of the material may cause uncontrolled movement during work, which increases the risk of serious injury.
Wear personal protective equipment, such as eye and hearing protection, a dust mask, safety gloves and appropriate work
clothing.
Make sure to carry out all assembly and adjustment steps.
Make sure that the power switch is in the off position, then plug the power cord plug into the mains socket.
Grasp the power fl oat with both hands by the main and additional handles (XII), then hold it in a safe position so that the disc
and accessory do not come into contact with any object. Press the power switch with your fi nger. Allow the disc to reach its rated
operating speed and only then start working the material.
The tool can be turned off by releasing the unlocked power switch.
The power fl oat should be held in a safe position until fi nishing the work completely. It is forbidden to stop the tool disc by pressing
it against the workpiece surface. Then put the sander away, unplug it from the mains by pulling the power cord plug out of the
socket, and start maintenance works.
Power fl oat operation tips
Plaster fl oating consists of its mechanical machining before the plaster completely hardens. The fl oating should be performed at
the appropriate time using means and methods adapted to the selected type of plaster.
The fl oating should be carried out at a temperature from +5 C to +30 C before the plaster surface dries.

Never hold the tool in any other way but by the handles. The improper grip will not ensure safe operation and may obscure venti-
lation openings. This can lead to overheating of the tool.
Do not press the disc against the machined surface too hard. Excessive pressure can cause the tool to overheat and damage the
machined surface and even tear the accessory or damage the tool disc.
Hold the tool so that the entire surface of the selected accessory is used. This will ensure uniform wear of the accessory and
speed up the work.
Move the tool towards and away from you, and gradually to a side.
Sandpaper is used for levelling styrofoam boards and other surfaces. Due to the coarse grit, the sandpaper should not be used
for fi nishing sanding.
The PVC disc is used for fl oating cement-lime plasters. The sponge disc is used for fl oating gypsum-based plasters. Before use,
dampen the sponge with water and squeeze out excess water. The metal disc is used for fl oating the underlayment (jointless
fl oor), concrete and cement render.
Take regular breaks during operation to check the condition of the accessory. If sandpaper is found to have been clogged with
dust generated during operation, or that the abrasive grit has worn, replace the sanding sheet with a new one. The sponge should
be rinsed regularly in water. It is forbidden to immerse the sponge attached to the disc.
The power fl oat is not intended for sanding wood and gypsum skim coats. Dust generated during such work can cause clogging
of the ventilation openings and lead to damaging the tool. The device is also not equipped with any system that allows for the
extraction of dust generated during work, which causes high dustiness in the workplace. A large amount of dust poses a threat to
the operator and reduces visibility in the workplace.
