Do not use the device in a potentially explosive environment containing fl ammable liquids, gases, or vapours. The device
generates sparks that can ignite dust or vapours.

Personal safety
Stay alert, pay attention to what you do and use common sense when working with the device. Do not use the device if you
are tired or under the infl uence of drugs, alcohol or medications. Even a moment's distraction while working can lead to serious
personal injury.
Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. The use of personal protective equipment such as dust
masks, slip-resistant safety shoes, helmets and hearing protectors reduces the risk of serious personal injuries.
Avoid accidental starting. Make sure the power switch is in the "off " position before lifting or handling the device. Han-
dling the device with your fi nger on the power switch can lead to serious injuries.
Before turning on the device, remove any spanners and other tools that have been used to adjust it. A spanner left on the
rotating parts of the device can lead to serious injuries.
Do not reach or lean out too far. Maintain the right posture and balance at all times. This will allow for easier control of the
device in the event of unexpected situations during operation.
Dress appropriately. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep hair and clothing away from moving parts of the de-

If the device is suitable for connecting dust extraction or collecting dust, make sure that it is connected and used cor-

Do not let the experience gained from frequent use of the device cause carelessness and ignoring the safety rules. Care-
less operation can cause serious injuries in a split second.
Device use and care
Do not overload the device. Use the right device for the selected application. The right device will ensure better and safer
work if it is used for the designed load.
Keep the device out of reach of children, do not allow persons unfamiliar with the operation of the device or these in-
structions to use it. The devices are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
Maintain the device and accessories. Check the device for incompatibilities or jams of moving parts, damage to parts
and any other conditions that may aff ect its operation. Repair the damage before operating the device. Many accidents
are caused by improperly maintained tools.
Keep the cutting tools clean and sharp. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp edges are less prone to jamming and are
easier to control during operation.
Use devices, accessories and insertion tools, etc. in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the type and
conditions of work. Using the tools for uses other than intended may lead to dangerous situations.
Keep handles and grip surfaces dry, clean and free of oil and grease. Slippery handles and grip surfaces do not allow for safe
operation and control of the device in dangerous situations.

When working, there is a risk of ejecting objects in the direction of the operator and bystanders. The operator is responsible for
accidents or hazards to other people or the environment. Do not operate the device if there are bystanders, especially children in
the vicinity. Before commencing work, designate a safety zone with a radius of at least 15 meters from the workplace.
