EN
oil intended for four-stroke engines. Do not use oil for liquid-cooled engines.
In case of spilling the fuel, thoroughly wipe off its residues before starting the device.
Do not use a mixture older than 30 days.
After refi lling the tank, close its fi ller fi rmly and securely.
Starting the device
Place the device on the ground. It is forbidden to start the device resting it on the insertion tool.
Move the power switch to the on position – I (IV).
Press the fuel pump a few times to bring the fuel to the carburettor.
Close the throttle by moving it to the OFF position (V). For example, if a warm engine is started after a short break in operation,
the throttle may remain in the ON position.
Grasp the handle with one hand and the starter pull cord handle with the other and pull the cord handle vigorously so that it slides
out about 50 cm (VI). Avoid pulling the cord several times in rapid succession. After starting the engine, hold the handle to avoid
jerking of the retractable cord and allow it to slowly retract into the housing.
After starting the engine, open the throttle completely, moving it to the ON position.
Allow the engine to run for 3-5 minutes for the device to warm up. After this time it is possible to start working, but for the fi rst 24
hours of operation, the device should be used at a low speed to prolong its service life.
The rotational speed is adjusted by means of the lever at the handle. After the fi rst 24 hours of operation, any speed can be used.
It is forbidden to use high speed when the device is not working.
Stopping the device
With the lever, reduce the engine speed to idle and leave the device in this condition for 3-5 minutes. Move the power switch to
the off position – O. The engine will stop.
Caution! If there is a need for emergency stopping of the engine, set the power switch in the off position – O. However, do not stop
the device in such a manner in the normal mode, as this will shorten its service life.
After stopping the device, wait for it to cool down, remove the insertion tool and proceed with maintenance.
Working with the hammer
Grasp the hammer by both handles and rest the insertion tool on the machined surface (VII). If the tool has not started working,
the hammer must be pushed in the direction of the machined surface. This is not the result of a malfunction, but protection against
unloaded operation.
During operation, apply only the pressure necessary for the correct operation of the device. Excessive pressure on the device can
damage the work tool and the jackhammer mechanisms. It will also reduce the performance.
If the product is to be used for demolition of thick surfaces, it should be carried out in layers. Each time, demolish a layer of a
small thickness.
Take regular breaks during work.
Due to the fuel supply, it may not be possible to work in every position of the hammer.
MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTIONS
Before starting any activities described below, turn off the device. Make sure that the engine is cooled down. Disconnect the
sparking plug cable to avoid accidental starting of the device.
Replacing and maintaining the sparking plug (VIII)
Remove the sparking plug rubber cover, disconnect the cable, and remove the sparking plug with the spanner for sparking plugs.
Check the condition of the sparking plug electrodes. The distance between the electrodes should be within the range of 0.6 – 0.7
mm. In case of noticing dirt, try to clean the sparking plug electrodes with a brass wire brush. If the cleaning does not bring the
expected results, replace the sparking plug with a new one.
Check the condition of the sparking plug at least once a month.
Maintaining the air fi lter (IX)
Maintain the air fi lter after each use of the device.
Unscrew the screw supporting the fi lter cover and remove the cover.
Remove the fi lter and rinse it with warm water with soap.
Dry the fi lter thoroughly and install it back in place.
Screw the fi lter cover back in.
Other maintenance activities
After each use, also check the general condition of the device. Tighten loose screw connections. Check
whether there are no fuel leaks. Make sure that the ventilation openings are clear. Check that all covers and housings are
