MIG welding mode selection
The machine can work in different MIG modes.
2T: Welding while holding the button down. Possible spot welding with or without repetition. See additional pa-
rameters section for more information.
4T: In this mode you can adjust 3 power levels. During the first press, the ignition sequence will start at
the initial power level.
The initial power level is adjusted by the additional parameter "SPi", available in the Settings
sub-menu. This power level is maintained while the button is held down.
When you release the button of the torch, the welding power will change to the nominal value. You can set the transi-
tion time from initial power level to nominal level using the "tri" parameter.
When you press the button again, there will be a transition between the nominal value and the final level. The dura-
tion of this transaction can be adjusted by the "tre" parameter.
While the button is held down, the final power level is performed. The purpose of this final power level is to perform
the function of filling the crater (crater filling). The power level can be adjusted by the parameter "SPE" setting.
When you release the button for the second time,
the welding process stops.
Manual Mode
This work mode is not supported for transfer pulsed or double pulsed. You can change the relationship between
speed and voltage by the synergistic arc height adjustment.
Synergic Mode
After setting up the equipment, it will automatically be adjusted according to the wire speed you specify, providing at
each position appropriate to the process characteristics.
For the selection of the material we have two options. The first would be all the usual materials with standard gases,
this selection is done with the keys 27 and 28; however, for materials or gases not so common, we must select the
OP program and choose the appropriate program from the program table.
Settings in synergic mode
In synergic mode will adjust the wire speed as the main parameter. This parameter determines the nominal welding
power and must be suitable for the thickness of material to be joined. The adjustable speed limit, minimum and maxi-
mum,depen on the material and the shelding gas selected.
You can adjust the height of the arch. The possible values are from +10 to -10, as a recommended value 0. Positive
values increase the height of the arc, reduce the length of the wire between arc and torch, and the weld will be wider
but with less penetration. Negative values reduce the height of the arc, increase the length of the wire between arc
and torch, the weld will be thinner and the arc more concentrated, it's possible to get a better penetration.
Arc dynamics can be adjusted and affects the finish of the weld and the projections that can be produced. The possi-
ble setting is from +10 to -10 being the optimum value 0. A positive adjustment of the arc dynamics will concentrate
the welding arc,improve the guiding and allow a thinner weld, however, the number of projections can be increased.
A negative adjustment of arc dynamics allows a wider arc cone which helps to create concave cords for fillet welds.
You can reduce the number of projections transfer in short circuit.
Welding programs
You need to select the right program for the type of material, wire section and shield gas in use, before starting the
welding.
The usual MIG welding programs, Steel with Ar CO
(15-25%), Stainless 316/308/304 with Ar CO
(2%) and alumi-

num-magnesium 5356 with Ar (100%) can be selected directly with indicators control Panel. Repeatedly press the
buttons 27 and / or 28 to obtain the desired configuration.
For pulsed welding programs transfer, double pulsed, or combinations of gases or not so common materials, you
must select the option OP. Select the desired program code according to the following reference table available in-
side Aerofeed door.
