There is a defect in the welding circuit connection.
No shielding gas.
The electrode is contaminated.
The earth connection and torch polarity are incorrect.
The workpiece is dirty.
Excessive draught.
Earth and torch connections interchanged.
Tungsten electrode contaminated.
Wrong shielding gas.
The tip of the torch is defective or incorrect.
The towline material and/or diameter are not suitable for
the filler material in use, or it is in poor condition.
Wrong rollers for the material in use.
Tensor pressure incorrect or rollers worn.
Incorrect brake adjustment.
The automatic or synergistic adjustment speed is not suita-
ble for the needs of your application.

In MIG mode, supply wire speed is inadequate
CAUSE
Make sure the MMA mode is activated.
Check that electrode holder and earth clamps are pro-
perly connected to the respective power outlets.
Check the state of cable connections.
Make sure the TIG mode is activated.
Check the connection of remote controls.
Check torch and earth clamp are properly connected
to the respective power outlets. Check the state of
cable connections.
Connect shielding gas. Make sure to use the proper
shielding gas.
Clean the tungsten electrode. A contaminated elec-
trode can affect the ignition sequence.
Check that the torch is connected to the right connec-
tor and earth clamp to the left.
Remove dirt or paint chips.
A draught can move the shielding gas and affect the
arc.
Interchange the connection.
Clean the electrode.
Ensure sufficient flow level. Ensure you use inert
shielding gases for TIG welding processes.
Check that the tip matches the diameter of the wire in
use and check that it is free of dirt and/or projections.
Check towline type you use. If it is in poor condition,
replace it.
Check that the rollers are suitable for the filler material
in use and that they are in good condition. Follow the
instructions in this manual for adjusting the pressure
of the rollers.
Check the adjustment of the brake in the coil holder.
Select the manual mode to set the desired ratio bet-
ween wire speed and welding voltage.
