5.9.1.2 Application with gauge arm
For weight application with arm tip, Laser Pointer
will have to be disabled. Weight will be positioned
to the left compared to the contact point (A) of
Gauge on rim Figure 5-24c.
Refer to Figure 5.22
The gauge arm must be used to apply the stick-on
weights.
• Turn the wheel to the balancing position for the
right plane, at which all the indicators will be on (1
Figure 5-23) and the WAP indicator will also turn
on (2 Figure 5-23).
• If there is no automatic brake, operate the brake
pedal to lock the wheel in this position.
Now decide if you want to use the Split Weight

Mode SWM (
• Clean the application point before applying the
stick-on weight.
• Insert at the centre of the arm gauge a stick-on
weight that complies with the unbalance detected
and remove the adhesive protective strip Figure
5-24.
Note: Once the gauge arm has been removed
and the correct position has been reached,
the unit generates an acoustic signal and the
unbalance value fl ashes.
• Apply the weight to the correct point on the rim.
• Turn the wheel to the next WAP ( 3-4 Figure
5.23), apply the stick-on weight on the arm and
secure it at the reference point on the left plane.
• Perform a Test Run.
