Maintenance
6.0 Maintenance
This unit is designed to operate for a long time.
If the operator shuts down the unit correctly (
at the end of each shift, no further maintenance is
required.
This unit must not be opened by the operator, except
in accordance with explicit instructions listed here.
6.1
Storage
When the unit will be stored for a several weeks or
longer, prepare the unit correctly:
• Shut down the unit properly (
• Remove the threaded shaft from the balancer.
• Apply a light, non-corrosive oil onto all threads and
cones.
• Wrap oiled items in paper to protect parts against
dust.
When the unit will be put into use again, clean all oiled
parts.
6.2
Changing the mains fuse:
Refer to Figure 6-1.
• Switch off the unit.
• Unplug the power cable from the power outlet.
• Remove the power cable from the mains outlet.
• Pull out the fuse holder (1).
• Replace the fuse with an identical one.
• Bring unit back to its original state.
