2. Plug in the vacuum sealer to the mains.
3. Press the lid lock buttons (8), raise the lid (1) and insert the open end of the bag to the vacuum
chamber (3). Place the plastic bag with the knurled side up.
4. Close the lid and press it down until the buttons (8) "click".
5. Use the "Mode" button (2d) to select the appropriate vacuum mode. Set the mode to "Normal" for
products which require high vacuum level; set the mode to "Gentle" for fragile products. A relevant
LED – (2f) or (2g) – will light up to indicate the mode.
6. Use the "Food" button (2e) to select the appropriate sealing mode. Select the "Dry" mode to seal a
dry bag. Select the "Moist" mode to seal a bag containing moist. A relevant LED – (2h) or (2i) – will
light up to indicate the mode.
7. Press and hold the "STOP" button for a moment (2a) to unlock the sealing buttons, which is indi-
cated by the open padlock icon lighting up on the button (2a).
8. Press the "VacSeal" button (2b) – the button will light up – the air evacuation and sealing process is
in progress. The backlight will switch off when the air evacuation and sealing process. The process
can be stopped with the "STOP" button (2a).
CAUTION! Stop the process if the vacuum pump still operates after 45 seconds – the bag is not
airtight or it is not placed in the vacuum chamber properly. Check for irregularities and repeat
the process.
9. Open the lid of the vacuum sealer (1) and remove the sealed bag.
CAUTION! Always open the top lid immediately once the sealing is completed and do not close
the lid until another sealing. Wait at least 40 seconds before the next sealing.
CAUTION! Do not touch the sealing bar (6) – burn hazard.
10. Check that all air has been removed well and that the seal has been welded airtight. If the bag is
defective put the food in a new bag and repeat the sealing process.
11. Unplug the vacuum sealer from the mains.
VACUUM VIA ACCESSORIES
The vacuum sealer can evacuate air from detached containers. This requires an appropri-
ate vacuum tube (not included with the MPZ-01 vacuum sealer).
1. Plug in the vacuum sealer to the mains.
2. Press the lid lock buttons (8) and open the lid (1). Connect a compatible vacuum tube to the vacu-
um connector (9). Connect the other end of the vacuum tube to its dedicated container.
3. Press the vacuum pump start button (10) – air evacuation from a detached container will start.
The pump will switch off automatically once the air evacuation is completed. You can press the
button (10) to interrupt the process.
CAUTION! Stop the process if the vacuum pump is still active after 45 seconds – the bag is not
airtight or it has not been placed in the vacuum chamber properly. Check for irregularities and
repeat the process.
4. When done, disconnect the vacuum tube and unplug the appliance from the mains.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the mains outlet and wait until it has completely
cooled down after sealing.
CAUTION! Do not submerge the vacuum sealer in water or other liquids!
2. Clean the appliance housing by wiping with a damp cloth and some detergent. Next, wipe the
appliance housing dry.
