The Diagnostics screen contains information that can be useful for troubleshooting the system in the event of a
malfunction . It is intended to be viewed for informational purposes only; there are no user configurable options on this
screen . The Diagnostics screen contains the following information:
• Pressure sensor raw voltage (VDC) . This is the value that the valve controller is reading from the pressure
sensor . Voltage increases as pressure increases . Normal range is 0 .5 to 5VDC .
Note: If no pressure sensor is installed, this value reads 5VDC .
• Flow sensor raw frequency value (Hz) . This is the value sent to the valve controller from the flow sensor . The
value is in hertz and increases as flow increases . Normal range varies based on pipe diameter, but is
typically about 0 to 250Hz .
• Position Sensor value (degrees) . This is the reading from the magnetic sensor in the valve trunion . It is
displayed in degrees and increases as the valve closes . Normal range varies based on installation, but typically
shows a difference of 94 degrees from fully closed to fully open .
• Motor current (amps) . This is the actual operating current of the motor .
Each of these values is updated as the pressure, flow or valve position changes . When finished viewing, press the
■ EXIT button to return to the main menu .
