7.8 Pressure Setup & Calibration
Menu location: Setup Menu → OEM Configuration → Pressure Setup
The Pressure setup menu includes the following options:
• Pressure Options. Units of measure and a zero offset value can be set from the Pressure Options menu .
• Custom Calibration. It is not necessary to calibrate the pressure sensor as it comes calibrated from the factory . This
option is available for rare cases where it is necessary to custom calibrate a non-factory supplied pressure sensor .
• Factory Calibration. This option can be selected to reset the pressure sensor calibration to factory defaults .
Pressure Options:
The Pressure Options menu allows the user to adjust the display to show pressure in the desired units . The available
pressure units are PSI, KPA or BAR . Once the units are set, the pressure will be converted in the controller and displayed
in those units .
The other option in the pressure setup menu is an option to set a zero cutoff value . In the case where the display oc-
casionally shows a low pressure in the pipe when there is no pressure, a zero cutoff may be useful . Once a zero cutoff
value is set, the controller will display a value of zero until it reaches the specified cutoff value and then it will display
normally . For example, if the zero cutoff is set for 20 PSI, and the flow in the line is 15 PSI, the display will show 0 PSI
until it reaches 20 PSI in the line .
