Attachment
You can attach the sanding sheet 4 to the

sanding pad 3 using the Velcro.

Ensure that the extraction holes on the sanding
sheet 4 match up with those on the sanding
pad 3. Use the sanding sheet alignment
tool 9 as shown in fig. A on the fold-out page.
Removal

Simply pull the sanding sheet 4 off the
sanding pad 3.

Self-extraction with dust collector
Connection

Push the dust collector 2 onto the appliance.
Turn the dust collector 2 towards the

To ensure optimum extraction, empty the dust
collector 2 regularly.

To do this, remove the dust collector 2 from the
appliance as described above. To do this, open
the dust collector 2 by pressing on the release
button 8 and pulling off the rear part (see
detailed illustration on fold-out page). Now
remove the dust bag. Clean the dust bag
thoroughly by tapping it out.
External extraction
Connecting

To remove dust using a vacuum cleaner, push
the suction hose of a suitable dust extraction
device (e.g. a workshop vacuum cleaner) onto
the exhaust nozzle 6.

into the exhaust nozzle 6.

exhaust nozzle 6 or the adapter 7.

Working procedures

Wait until the power tool has come to a standstill
before putting it down.
Sanding surfaces
♦
Turn on the power tool and ensure that the
whole grinding surface is in contact with the
material being worked. Move it with moderate
pressure over the workpiece.
NOTE
►
The removal rate and the sanding pattern are
mainly determined by the choice of sanding
sheet and the contact pressure. Only flawless
sanding sheets achieve good sanding results.
