The SAPE is also used in several procedures for

placement process.

MAIN SHAFT LOCK - Fig. 14a
Pedal of main shaft lock
The main shaft is locked when the pedal is depressed.
This also facilitates tightening or loosening of the
clamping nut.
Note:
This lock is designed only to facilitate orientation
of the wheel and must not be used for braking the
main shaft spin.
