3. Installation
It is recommended to use a PV junction box with surge protection to protect against lightning damage.
Because the Inverter/Charger is non-isolated, only three types of PV modules should be used:
• Single-crystalline
• Poly-crystalline with class A rating
• CIGS
When selecting a PV module, ensure that the open circuit voltage of the PV modules does not exceed the max PV
array open circuit voltage supported by the inverter.

Wiring PV Modules to Inverter
• Remove insulation about 10 mm for both positive and negative conductors.
• We recommend the use of ferruled ends on the positive and negative ends with proper crimping tool.
• Reattach bottom cover to the inverter with supplied screws.
