Start cooking
To start cooking, carefully follow the steps below to get the most out of your Infiniton cooktop.
Touch the ON/OFF key. After switching on, a beep
will sound and all indicators will show "-" or "- -",
indicating that the hob has entered standby
mode.
Place a suitable container on the cooking zone
you wish to use.
Make sure that the bottom of the pan and the
surface of the cooking zone are clean and dry.
When touching the heating zone selection control,
an indicator next to the key will flash.
Select a temperature setting by touching the "-"
or "+" control. If you do not choose a heat setting
within 1 minute, the hob will automatically switch
off. You will have to start again at step 1.
You can change the heat setting at any time du-
ring cooking.
Note: The entire hob can withstand a maximum power of 3000W. Therefore, the hob automatically
reduces the maximum power output allowing for a maximum sum of all power levels of 12
If the display flashes
This means that:
- you have not placed a pan on the correct cooking zone or,
- the pan you are using is not suitable for induction cooking or,
- the pan is too small or not properly centred on the cooking zone.
Heating does not occur if there is no suitable frying pan in the cooking zone.
