BOOST Function
Use the Boost function for more power.
If your hob has a BOOST function, it will allow you to reach maximum power in record time. Here's how to
use it to get the most out of it.
Press the cooking zone selection control , an indi-
cator next to the key will flash.
Press the "B" key, then the cooking zone indicator
will show a "P" and the hob will reach full power.
If you want to cancel the function during these 5
minutes, touch the zone selection button, an indi-
cator next to the key will flash. And then touch the
Boost button. The heating zone will return to the
power stage set before the boost.

The cooking zone returns to its original setting after 5 minutes.
Locking the controls (Child Lock)
You can lock the controls to prevent unintentional use (e.g. if children accidentally turn on the cooking
zones).
When the controls are locked, all controls, except the on/off control, are disabled.
Activating the lock
Touch "+" and "-" at the same time and hold them for 3 seconds to activate the key lock control. The
timer indicator will display "Lo".
Deactivate the lock
Press and hold down the + / - keys for a moment.
Note: When the hob is locked, all controls are disabled except the ON/OFF button. You can always switch
off the induction hob with the ON/OFF button in an emergency, but you must unlock the hob first in the
next operation.
