Operation
Setting the timer to switch off a cooking zone.
Press the selection control for the cooking zone for
which you wish to set the timer (e.g. zone 2#).
Touch the timer control key, the timer indicator will
start flashing and "30" will be shown on the timer
display.
Set the time by touching the timer control.
Tip: If you touch the timer "-" or "+" control once, it
will decrease or increase by 1 minute. If you press
and hold the "-" or "+" timer control, it will decrea-
se or increase by 10 minutes.
By touching the cooking zone selection control,
and then the "Timer", the timer is cancelled and
the "-" will be shown in the minute display.
Once the time has been set, the countdown will
start immediately. The display will show the re-
maining time and the timer indicator will flash for
5 seconds.
NOTE: The red dot next to the power level indicator
will illuminate indicating that the zone is selected.
When the cooking timer expires, the correspon-
ding cooking zone is automatically switched off
and will display "H", indicating that the cooking
zone is still hot.
Note: The other cooking zones will continue to operate if they are previously switched on.
