above shoulder height. This helps
prevent unintended tip contact and
enables better control of the chain saw
in unexpected situations.
c)­ Only use replacement bars and
chains specified by the manu-
facturer. Incorrect replacement bars
and chains may cause chain breakage
and/or kickback.
d)­ Follow the manufacturer´s
sharpening and maintenance
instructions for the saw chain.
Decreasing the depth gauge height can
lead to increased kickback.
e)­­ Follow all instructions when clea-
ring the chainsaw of accumulated
material, storing or performing
maintenance. Make sure the
switch is turned off and the batte-
ry is removed.Unexpected operation
of the chainsaw when removing ac-
cumulated material or during mainte-
nance can result in serious injury.

at least practice the cutting of logs on a
saw log or frame.
•­ For­sowing­work­on­hillsides,­always­
stand in the area above the log.
To keep total control while sawing
through,­reduce­the­pressure­at­the­end­
of the cut without loosening your grip
on the handles of the electric chain
saw. Make sure the saw chain does
not­touch­the­ground.­After­finishing­
the­cut,­wait­until­the­electric­chain­saw­
comes to a halt before removing it. Al-
ways shut off the engine of the electric
chain saw before switching between
trees.
•­ Dirt,­stones,­loose­bark,­nails,­clips­and­
wires must be removed from the tree.
• Do not use any accessories
that are not recommended by
PARKSIDE. This can result in electric
