Observe the safety informa-
tion and notes on charging
and proper use as shown in
the instruction manual for
your battery and charger from
the Parkside X 20 V Team
series. A detailed description
of the charging process and
further information can be
found in the separate operat-
ing instructions.
Charging
Do not expose the battery to
extreme conditions such as
heat and shocks. There is a risk of
injury caused by leaking electrolyte
solution! In case of contact with
eyes or skin, rinse the affected sites
with water or a neutralizer and
seek medical attention.
The battery must only be char-
ged up in dry areas. The exter-
nal surface of the battery must be
clean and dry before being connec-
ted to the charger. There is a risk of
personal injuries from an electric
shock.
To recharge batteries of the PARKSIDE
X 20 V Team­series,­only­use­a­
charger belonging to the PARKSIDE
X 20 V Team­series.­­
•­ Charge­the­battery­before­using­it­for­
the­first­time.
•­ Always­comply­with­the­latest­safety­
information,­as­well­as­the­regulations­
and information relating to environmental
protection.

Charging the battery
If­warm,­allow­the­battery­to­cool­be-
fore charging. Charge the battery
(16)­when­only­the­red­LED­on­the­charge­
level indicator (
1.­ If­necessary,­remove­the­batteries­(16)­
from the tool.
2.­ Slide­the­batteries­(16)­into­the­char-
ging slot of the PARKSIDE­X 20 V Team
charger.
3. Plug the charger into a socket.
4.­ Once­charging­is­complete,­disconnect­
the charger from the mains supply.
5.­ Remove­the­batteries­(16)­from­the­
charger.
Overview of the LED indicators on
the charger:
Green LED illuminated while battery not
inserted: Charger is ready.
Green LED lights up: Battery is charged.
Red LED lights up: Battery charging.
Red LED flashes: Overheated
Red and green LED flash:
Battery defective
Assembly
Always wear protective
gloves when working with
the chainsaw and employ
only original parts. Pull out
the power plug before doing
any work on the chainsaw

Before putting the electric chain saw into
