for outdoor use, and the con-
nection must remain dry and
be routed above the ground.
We recommend using a cable
drum that holds the plug at least
60 mm above the ground.
• Wear sturdy footwear to protect
against electric shock.
Initial Operation
In keeping with current regulations a
pressure washer must never be oper-
ated off the drinking water mains
supply without a controllable back-
flow preventer. A suitable backflow
preventer in conformity with
EN 12729 type BA must be used.
Water that has passed through a backflow
preventer is classified as undrinkable.
A backflow preventer is available
from specialist retailers.
A system separator (check valve) prevents
the backflow of water and detergent into
the drinking water pipeline.
• The pressure washer does not have a
water suction function and can only be
operated via the water pipe.
• Use a commercially available 1/2" gar-
den hose, at least 5 m long, for water
supply. Do not exceed a length of 30 m.
Setting up
1. Remove the nozzle cleaning pin (14)
from the rear fold-out page of the inst-
ructions.
2. Slide the retaining bracket for the mains
connection cable (2) into the receptor
on the side of the pressure washer.

3. Screw the high-pressure connector for
the device (17) into the high-pressure
connection on the device (9).
4. Insert the high-pressure connector for the
spray gun (16) into the high-pressure
connection on the spray gun (19).
5. Connect the quick connector of the
supply hose to the water connection
coupling (5) and the water connection
with filter insert (4) on the device.
6. Connect the jet pipe (12) to the spray
gun (13) by inserting and screwing it in.
7. Screw the adjustable flat spray nozzle
(11) into the threaded connection (12a)
on the jet pipe (12).
8. To remove the flat spray nozzle, un-
screw the flat spray nozzle (11) from
the threaded connection (12a) on the jet
pipe.
The width of the jet can be increased by
turning the end of the nozzle to the left. To
reduce the width of the jet, turn the end of
the nozzle to the right.
Mains connection
The pressure washer you have acquired is
already fitted with a mains plug. The pres-
sure washer must only be connected to an
earthed socket 230 V ~ 50 Hz.
Only operate the pressure washer
after all the above points have been
observed.
• Ensure that the pressure washer is turned
off by its ON/OFF switch (3).
• Insert the mains plug into the mains socket
