1 – Introduction
Thank you very much for choosing TEAC.
Read this manual carefully to get the best performance from this
unit. After reading it, keep it in a safe place for future reference.
Features
o Playback of CDs, SD cards and USB flash drives possible
o CD player supports CD-DA, CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW (CD-DA for-
mat only), MP3-CD and WMA-CD formats
o MP3, AAC, WAV and WMA files can be played from SD cards and
USB flash drives
o Bluetooth® receiver built-in, enabling playback from smart
phones and other devices
o DAB/FM tuner built-in
o AUX IN jack can be used for playback from mobile audio players
and other devices
o Analog outputs include a pair of RCA unbalanced jacks
o Recording from audio CDs and the tuner to SD cards and USB
flash drives is possible
o Unbalanced RCA connectors dedicated for tuner output
o CD/SD/USB direct track searching using number keys or the
dedicated remote control
o Power-on-play function can automatically start track playback
when the unit is turned on
o Headphone output jack enables audio monitoring
o Up to 32 tracks can be added to the program memory

Conventions used in this manual
In this manual, we use the following conventions:
o When we refer to buttons, connectors and other parts of this
unit and other equipment, we use a bold font like this: HOME/
MENU button.
o When we show characters that appear on the display, the type-
face looks like this: Menu.
o SD/SDHC memory cards are called "SD cards".
o The CD-DA format is sometimes called the "audio CD" format. In
addition, CDs with tracks recorded in the audio CD format are
sometimes called "audio CDs".
o CDs with MP3 and WMA files are called "data CDs".
o The input source that is currently selected is called the "current
source".
o The folder that is currently selected is called the "current folder".
o Computers, portable audio devices and other equipment con-
nected to this unit using Bluetooth wireless transmission are
called "Bluetooth devices".
o As necessary, additional information is provided under TIP, NOTE
and ATTENTION headings.
