1. Open the door and check that the grate is on the second
level of the oven cavity.
2. Remove the ties that hold the moving rods.
3. Place the moving rods in the holes in the brackets located
on the oven door.
4. Your self-sliding grate is ready to use, check by opening
and closing the door.
Oven light (On some models)
Your range is equipped with a light in the oven, this lighting is important to check the baking
without opening the door. The oven light is turned on when you press down the switch that is
located next to the knob that has the symbol .
To turn off the light, press the switch button again. When the interior focus stops
working, replace it by following these steps:
1. Disconnect the power cable from the range.
2. Remove the bulb by turning it counterclockwise.
3. Place with a new special bulb of 40 Watts for household
appliances.
4. Connect the range to the outlet.
RANGE CARE AND CLEANING
Your range is manufactured to give many years of service; however it is important to provide
optimal care in order to enjoy a long time of your service.
Care Recommendations:
Follow these recommendations to take care of your range:
Glass cover (in some models)
The cap is made of tempered glass and although it is resistant, it must be handled with care to
prevent it from breaking. Keep in mind the following recommendations:

Open or close the cap without hitting it.
•
Make sure the burners are off when closing the hood.
•
Never light the burners when the cap is closed.
•
Do not place any object on the glass cover.

Do not expose the burners of your stove to prolonged periods of use.
•
Do not overload your oven racks with excessively heavy pots. The maximum weight load
supported is approximately 45 lbs.
•
Avoid whipping the grates on the cover or the pans on the grates.

•
Never use the oven door as a step nor step to reach a tall cabinet, it may cause an
accident.
•
Do not whip the oven door, it can damage the gaskets and reduce the efficiency of the
oven.
•
Do not attempt to remove or disassemble the oven door for any reason.
•
Do not allow children to play around the range.
GENERAL CLEANING
It is important to give regular cleaning to your range for optimal operation, follow the following
recommendations for cleaning:
•
Before cleaning, make sure all controls are off and the oven and grill are cool.
•
Always follow the instructions on the labels of commercial cleaning products.
•
Unless otherwise indicated, it is recommended to use water, soap and a soft cloth or
sponge as the primary cleaning material.
•
Do not use caustic soda or cleaning products that contain it to clean the range.
•
Failure to follow this instruction will cause permanent damage to the surfaces where it is
applied.
