Additional safety instructions
for pneumatic tools
Compressed air can cause serious injuries.
Always shut off the air supply and disconnect
the tool from the air supply when not in use.
Always disconnect the tool from the compressed
air supply before changing accessories, making
adjustments and/or repairs and when you are
moving from one work area to another.
Keep fingers away from the trigger when the
tool is not in use and when you are moving from
one operating position to another.
Never direct compressed air at yourself or
anyone else.
Flared hose lines can cause serious injuries.
Always check for damaged or loose hoses or
connections.
Never carry a pneumatic tool at its hose.
Never pull a pneumatic tool by its hose.
Do not exceed the maximum operating pressure
(Ps max) when you are using pneumatic tools.
Pneumatic tools should only be operated by
compressed air at the lowest possible pressure
for the work process to reduce noise and vibra-
tion and minimise wear.
The use of oxygen or flammable gases to oper-
ate pneumatic tools creates a fire and explosion
hazard.
Use caution when you are using pneumatic
tools as the tool may become cold, affecting
grip and control.
Supplementary safety instructions
for pneumatic nail and staple guns
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
Never exceed the maximum permissible
operating pressure of 8 bar.
Use a pressure reducer to adjust the working
pressure.
Never use oxygen or other flammable gases
as a power source.
Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered
or dark areas invite accidents.

Keep children and bystanders away while
operating the staple gun. Distractions can
cause you to lose control.
Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use
common sense when you are operating the
nail and staple gun. Do not use a nail and
staple gun while you are tired or under the
influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
A moment of inattention while operating the nail
and staple gun may result in serious personal
injury.
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and
balance at all times. This enables better control
of the nail and staple gun in unexpected situa-
tions.
Disconnect the tool from the compressed air
source before starting any repairs or mainte-
nance work and before transportation.
RISK OF INJURY! Do not use the tool when
you are working on scaffolding or ladders.
Never use hydrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide
or other gas in cylinders as an energy source
for this tool, as this could lead to an explosion
and thereby cause serious injuries.
RISK OF INJURY!
Do not operate the tool if the safety yoke
damaged. Failure to do so can lead to serious
injury.
When you are uncoupling the hose, hold the
hose firmly in your hand to prevent injuries
caused by a thrashing hose.
Always use a ¼" threaded plug nipple and
quick-release coupling for the compressed air
connection.
Never place your hands in the vicinity of the
opening
if the tool is ready for use. Failure
to do so can lead to serious injury.
Ensure there is no damage.
Check the tool for any possible defects before
use. If the tool exhibits any faults, it should not
be used under any circumstances.
Do not use any sharp or pointed objects.
Never insert any pointed and/or metallic
objects into the interior of the tool.
