The required stroke rate can be preselected (also during
operation) using the wheel C.
§
If the tool does not run with wheel C in position 1,
select a higher sawing speed and lower the sawing
speed while the tool runs.
The required stroke rate is dependent on the material and
the working conditions and can be determined by a
practical trial.
After working for longer periods at low stroke rate allow the
machine to cool down by running it at maximum stroke rate
and no-load for approx. 3 minutes.

MOUNTING OF SAW BLADE (FIGURE 4)

Only allow the jig saw to run with a jig saw blade
inserted.
Removes the screw of support D and loosens the screw of
setting of saw blade E. Insert saw blade F into slot in
support with teeth facing forward and press the screw of
setting of the saw blade E.

Insert blade to full depth with teeth facing forward
(figure 5).
To remove the blade for replacement reverse the procedure

The semi-circle G on base plate H (is marked 15°, 30° and
45° which denote the cutting angles most commonly used.
Loose screw I, move the base plate H to the desired angle,
and retighten screw I.

vacuum cleaner adaptor J as illustrated.

Do not use vacuum cleaner when sanding metal.

Operating the tool
Before switching on the tool, ensure that front end of
footplate rests flat on the workpiece
Hold tool firmly with both hands, so you will have full control
of the tool at all times.
Ensure that complete surface of footplate rests firmly on the
workpiece.
Ensure that the blade has come to a complete standstill,
before you lift the tool from the workpiece.
Application advice
Move the tool in straight movements in line with the grain

When cutting metals, lubricate saw blade regularly with oil
For an accurate straight cut, guide tool with footplate along
the edge of a straight piece of wood (figure 10).
