2. Rotate the propane tank valve clockwise to stop
the flow of the propane. Refer to
disconnect the propane tank on page 11 .
3. Turn the throttle control counterclockwise to stop the
engine.
4. Keep the tool plates against the surface until they
stop fully.

To do before the maintenance

Use personal protective equipment. Refer to
Personal protective equipment on page 6 .

Use approved respiratory protection. The dust from
the product is dangerous to your health.
General product maintenance
Clean the product.
Do a check of all safety devices.
Make sure that nuts and screws are tight.
Do a check of the brush sealing for damages and wear.
Clean the electrical enclosure.
Do a check of the electrical components, the cables and the
connections for wear and damages.
Do a check of the hose connections. Do a check of all hoses on
the product for damages or leakage.
Make sure that the dust hoses are not damaged and free of
blockage.
Make sure that the dust extractor is empty and connected cor-
rectly.
Do a check of the grinding discs for damages and wear.
Do a check of the emergency stop button.
Do a check of the brush strip.

5. Turn the ignition switch (B) counterclockwise.
6. Push the emergency stop button (C).
7. Remove the key of the operator presence control
from the product.
8. Stop the dust extractor.
•
Park the product on a level surface.
•
Stop the engine and disconnect the battery and
the propane tank to prevent accidental start during
maintenance.
•
Clean the area around the product from oil and dirt.
Remove unwanted objects.
•
Set out clear signs to give a warning to bystanders
that maintenance work is in progress.
•
Keep fire extinguishers, medical supplies and an
emergency phone near.
