To clean the oil cooler

Use a soft brush or compressed air to clean the oil
cooler fins from dirt.
WARNING:

To replace the engine oil and the oil
filter
If the engine is cold, start the engine for 1–2 minutes
before you drain the engine oil. This makes the engine
oil warm and easier to drain.
WARNING:
for more than 1–2 minutes before you drain
the engine oil. The engine oil becomes very
hot and can cause burn injuries. Let the
engine become cool before you drain the
engine oil.
WARNING:

1. Put a container below the oil drain plug on the left
side of the engine.

If you spill engine oil on
2. Remove the oil drain plug.
3. Remove the dipstick.
4. Drain the oil into the container.
5. Put a new gasket on the oil drain plug. Attach the oil
drain plug and tighten it.
6. Turn the oil filter (A) counterclockwise to remove it.

7. Lightly lubricate the rubber seal on the new oil filter
with new oil.
8. To attach the oil filter, turn it clockwise by hand until
the rubber seal is in position, then tighten a half turn
more.
9. Fill with new oil as given in
22 .
10. Start the engine and let it operate at idle speed for 3
minutes.
