Switching ON/OFF (1).
First check that the cable and plug
are not damaged.
Switching the power tool ON:
Turn the switch (1) to the back (I).
Switching the power tool OFF:
Turn the switch (1) to the front (0).
Switch configuration without lock
(specific countries):
Switching the power tool ON:
Press switch (1).
Switching the power tool OFF:
To turn off, let go of switch.
In the case of overload, the motor safety
switch (2) switches the power tool OFF.
The power tool cannot be switched ON
again until after approx. 20 – 30 seconds.
Before turning the motor safety switch ON
again, the mains switch must be turned to
the OFF position.

Risk of injury
by switching the tool ON unintentionally.
Before adjusting, pull out the mains plug.
Loosen the hexagon nuts with the
open-jawed wrench.
Turn the protective guard (4) to the
required position.
Screw the hexagon nuts tightly again.

Secure or change the
grinding tool (3).

Risk of injury
by switching the tool ON unintentionally.
Before changing the tool, pull out the mains
plug.
Hold the drive shaft with the wrench
tightly and undo the threaded flange
using a face spanner.
Screw out the threaded flange.
Change the grinding tool or place it on.
Make sure that the inner flange is fixed
to the drive shaft so that it cannot turn.
Make sure that the grinding tool is
properly centred between the inner
and threaded flange. Screw in the
threaded flange by hand.
Hold the drive shaft tightly using the
wrench and tighten the threaded flange
again using a face spanner.
Cleaning and care.

by switching the tool ON unintentionally.
Before cleaning, pull out the mains plug.
Carry out the following once a week, or
more often if the power tool is used more
frequently:
Clean the venting openings.
Blow out the motor space from outside
with dry compressed air.
