5. Before mounting the blade, make sure that the inner flange and flange cover are
located correctly on the motor shaft (Fig. 12d).
6. Rotate the motor shaft to align the slot in the inner flange with the shaft-locking
hole in the gear case.
7. Insert the hex key into the aligned holes to act as a stabilizer.
8. Mount the blade onto the motor shaft, ensuring that the surface of the blade
is flush with the surface of the inner flange bulge. Mount the outer flange and
the nut included in the EGO kit ABB1203-1 (Fig. 12e). Finger-tighten the nut in
COUNTERCLOCKWISE direction.
9. Position the gear case against a solid surface for support. With one hand holding
the brush cutter shaft and the other hand grasping a 16mm socket wrench (not
included) to tighten the nut COUNTERCLOCKWISE (Fig. 12f).
