7. Basic functions

Your projection clock is radio-controlled and hence does not require manual set-
ting.
The projection clock will automatically store the radio stations first, followed by the
time.
Once you have connected the mains adapter and the station search is completed,
the device searches for a DCF signal for receiving time and date.
The symbol
flashes on the display.
This search process can last up to 10 minutes. If no signal is found after this time pe-
riod, you should set the clock manually (see 'Device settings'
on page 12).
Once the device has successfully picked up the transmitter and made the required
settings, the
symbol is permanently displayed.
Transmission signals are better received if you position the device near a window.
To improve the radio reception (FM), change the position of the wire aerial.
NOTE!
High-frequency interference on the power line can interfere with DCF
reception for the radio clock. If this happens, use a different socket or
perform the time synchronisation at a later time.
7.1. Device on/off
 Press the O N / O F F button to switch the device on.
 Press the O N / O F F button once again to switch the device off.

7.2. Settings

In order to make the various settings, the radio must be switched off.
You can change the following settings:
 Time
 Date
 SDA (Special Date Alarm)
 Time zone
 Local time
 12/24 hours
 SNZ time (alarm interruption)
If no button is pressed for 15 seconds in the Settings menu, the menu is automati-
cally closed. Settings made up to this point are stored. To make any settings that are
still required, you must run through the entire menu once more.
Briefly pressing ▼-T U N I N G D O W N or T U N I N G U P -▲ will let you move
up or down an entry; if you hold down the button for a little longer, a fast run-
through takes place.
 Press the M O D E /B A N D button to access the 'Device settings' .
