3.13 Relative mode
Relative mode enables relative measurement results to be obtained
in relation to a stored reference value. The displayed value is the
difference between the reference value and the measured value.
1. Perform the measurement as described in the operating
instructions.
2. Press the REL key to store the displayed measurement. The "REL"
indicator is displayed.
3. The display will now indicate the difference between the stored
reference value and the value measured.
4. Press the REL key to exit relative mode.
Relative mode does not apply to frequency measurements.
3.14 Backlighting
Press the HOLD key for >1 second to turn on or off the backlighting
function. The backlighting will automatically turn off after 10 seconds.
3.15 HOLD
The hold function freezes the reading in the display. Press the HOLD
key briefly to activate or to disable the HOLD function.
3.16 AUTO POWER OFF
The auto off feature will turn the multimeter off after 15 minutes. To
disable the auto power off feature, hold down the MODE key when
the multimeter is turned on.
3.17 Low battery indication
The
icon will appear in the lower left corner of the screen when
battery voltage becomes low. Replace the battery when this icon
appears.
