1. Set the function switch to the Ω
2. Insert the black test lead banana plug into the
negative COM terminal.
3. Insert the red test lead banana plug into the
positive + terminal.
4. Press the MODE key to display "Ω".
5. Apply the test probes to the points of the circuit to
be tested. It is best to disconnect one side of the
part to be tested so the rest of the circuit will not
interfere with the measurement. The value
measured is displayed.

3.8 Continuity Check

To eliminate any risk of deterioration, disconnect power to the circuit to
be tested before making any continuity measurements.
1. Set the function switch to the Ω position.
2. Insert the black lead banana plug into the negative
COM terminal.
3. Insert the red test lead banana plug into the positive
+ terminal.
4. Press the MODE key to display "Ω".
5. Apply the test probes to the points of the circuit to
be tested. It is better to disconnect one side of the
part to be tested so that the rest of the circuit does
not interfere with the measurement. The value
measured is displayed.
 The temperature probe is fitted with a type K mini connector. A mini
connector to banana connector adaptor is supplied for connection to the
input banana terminals.

3.9 Diode test

To avoid any risk of deterioration, remove power from the
circuit to be tested before making any diode measurements.
1. Set the function switch to the Ω
2. Insert the black test lead banana plug into the negative
COM terminal and the red test lead banana plug into the
positive + terminal.
3. Press the MODE key to display
4. Apply test probes to the terminals of diode to be tested.
Direct voltage is usually expressed by a value between
0.4 and 0.7 V. Reverse voltage is indicated by "OL". Short-
circuit elements display a value close to 0V, open elements
"OL" in both polarities.
