Unplug the induction hob from the
mains.
Apply a worktop cleaner while the
glass is still warm (but not hot).
Rinse and dry with a clean cloth or
a paper towel.
Plug the induction hob back into
the power socket.
Remove them immediately with
a spatula or razor blade scraper
suitable for induction hobs but be
careful with the hot cooking zones.
Unplug the induction hob from the
mains.
Hold the scraper or cookware at
a 30° angle and scrape the dirt or
spillage onto a cool area of the
induction hob.
Wipe up the dirt or spillage with a
kitchen or paper towel.
Follow steps 2 to 4 from the 'Usual
dirt on glass' section.
Important
When the power to the induction
hob is switched off, there will be
no "hot surface" warning, but the
cooking zone may still be hot.
Abrasive cloths, some nylon
scouring pads, and strong/
abrasive cleaning products may
scratch the glass. Always read
the label to check if your cleaning
product or scouring pad is
suitable.
Never leave cleaning product
residues on the induction hob to
avoid staining the glass.
Remove melted and sugary
food stains or spills as soon as
possible. If left to cool down on
the glass, they may be difficult to
remove or may even permanently
damage the glass surface.
Cutting hazard: the blade of the
scraper may be very sharp, be
careful when removing the guard.
Use it with extreme care and
always store it safely and out of
the reach of children.
