Specific safety instructions for impact drills
Always wear ear protection while working.
The effects of noise can lead to loss of hearing.
Use the additional hand grips supplied with the device. Losing control of the machine
can lead to injury.
Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces when performing an operation
where the cutting tool may contact hidden wiring or its own cord. Contact with a
„live" wire will also make exposed metal parts of the power tool „live" and shock the
operator.
Additional safety instructions
Unplug the machine before you work on it or change a drill bit.
When working with the drill, always wear protective glasses and, if necessary, a
dust-protection mask.
The mains voltage supply must correspond to the data given on the label on the machine.
Devices labelled for 230V can also be connected to a 220V mains supply.
Never operate the on/off switch before you have plugged the machine into the mains.
Make sure that the switch is in the "off" position.
