Vibration
(Uncertainty K = 1,5 m/s²)
Drilling
Impact drilling
Always wear ear protection when using the drill!
-
The vibration emission level given in this information sheet has been measured in accor-
dance with a standardized test given in EN 60745 and may be used to compare one tool
with another.
-
The given vibration emission level may be used for the initial estimation of the real
exposure.
-
The vibration emission level will vary because of the ways in which a power tool can be
used and may increase above the level given in this information sheet.
Try to keep the exposure as low as possible. To reduce the vibration emission level the
-
user should wear working-gloves and use the machine for limited time.
All parts of working cycles have to be considered ( including the time the power tool is
-
switched off, and the time, when the power tool is running under no-load condition).
Description of the controls
1.) Additional hand grip and depth measurement
Only use the drill with the additional hand grip (8) fitted. Turn the handgrip anticlockwise until
the opening can be slid over the chuck on the gear neck of the machine. If necessary, slide
the drill depth-measuring device (9) through the corresponding opening on the additional
hand grip, choose the ideal grip position, and tighten the handgrip again. The additional
handgrip can be turned by 360° to the position required.
2.) Drill chuck
 Unplug the drill before exchanging drill bits
 Rotate the forward portion of the drill chuck (1) to the right to open the rear.
 Insert the drill bit as far as possible into the drill chuck.
 Rotate the forward portion to the left to close the drill chuck.
 As you close the drill chuck, ensure that the drill bit or other work tool is sitting correctly.
 Secure the drill bit firmly by tightening the drill chuck in all three holes using the provided
drill chuck key (5).
 Before working with the drill, make absolutely sure that you have removed the drill
chuck key from the drill chuck.
3.) Turning the machine on and off
 Press the on/off switch (3) to turn on the electric appliance.
 To turn off the machine, release the on/off switch again.
