OPERATION MANUAL AND INSTRUCTIONS
STORAGE
The accessory should be stored in a dry place protected against water.
Lubricate the pole masses to protect them against corrosion.
MAINTENANCE
The magnetic lifter should be inspected and tested at least once a year under load by a skilled operator, and in any case:
• Before the first start-up, when resuming service and after major modifications
• In accordance with the safety regulations which apply in the country of use.
• Blow the safety device with compressed air to clean it.
• Remove burrs and any unevenness from the surface of the poles using an abrasive cloth or smooth file.
• All faulty parts should be replaced with original Beta spare parts
• All deformed parts should be removed from service immediately.
If the magnetic lifter or its component parts are not operating correctly, damaged or worn, they should be removed from service
immediately and destroyed or scrapped if necessary.
EMERGENCY PROCEDURE IN THE EVENT OF AN INCIDENT
In the event of accessory malfunction:
• Stop all operations immediately.
• Set up a safety barrier around the area.
Call for qualified technical personnel to remove the load.

All the information on the accessory can be found on the plate attached to it (fig. 12).
