OPERATION MANUAL AND INSTRUCTIONS

The series number consists of two parts (fig. 13):
a) Batch number
b) Unit number
PROHIBITIONS
Do not:
• Operate in aggressive, chemical or saline atmospheres.
• Use the accessory if all the instructions in the general warnings have not been observed.
• Use the accessory if the data plate and/or markings are missing and/or illegible.
• Use the accessory if it and its component parts are not in good condition.
• Use the accessory to haul or anchor objects, or for any purposes other than those described in this manual.
• Use the accessory if the safety devices are not operating correctly or damaged.
• Activate the magnet in unsuitable situations due to the specific combination of thickness, air gap and curvature.
• Fix the clamp in place with any device other than the suspension eyebolt.
• Rotate a load while it is raised.
• Use the accessory for purposes or in configurations other than those described in this user manual.
• Apply lateral loads to the accessory.
• Motorise the accessory or operate it other than as instructed.
• Apply further extensions to the starting lever.
• Permit more than one person to operate the accessory.
• Clean the accessory with high pressure equipment and/or aggressive chemical substances (such as acids and chlorinated
products).
• Use the accessory in excess of the WLL value.
• Use the accessory in ambient temperatures outside the range indicated in the manual.
• Use the accessory to lift a load when the wind speed renders it unstable.
• Use the accessory to lift or move persons.
• Let the accessory fall from heights.
• Use the accessory in conditions which could lead to excessive overheating.
• Attempt to lift or haul a load subject to restraints.
• Use the accessory as an electric mass or conductor.
• Pull a load to be lifted in the lateral direction.
• Allow the carriage to oscillate beneath the accessory.
• Stand or move beneath the load.
• Use the magnetic lifter in an explosive atmosphere
• Leave a suspended load unsupervised.
• Lift hazardous, explosive or radioactive materials.
• Lift more than one load at a time (fig.14)
