3 Installation
Notes:

3. Only qualified personnel can perform installation.

3.2 Rack-Mount Installation
You can rack-mount the UPS in a 4-post frame or rack enclosure.
Notes:
• The UPS draws cooling air at the front. If the rack has a door on the front, ensure there is sufficient clearance between the UPS vents and
the rack door.
• It is strongly recommended at least two people lift the unit when rack-mounting. If only one person is available, the UPS system's internal
batteries should be taken out to reduce weight before rack-mounting. After mounting the UPS, reinstall the internal batteries.
• Use only the provided bracket ears and rail kits for rack-mount installation. Never depend on lower devices to support the UPS.

mounting holes of the UPS.

Connect the two segments of each shelf
included screws and nuts
loose so that the shelves can be adjusted in the next
step.
